Chicken Van Gogh
The Ghoom Guardian above may have been my first chicken but this Darjeeling hen benefits from her surroundings. The old wood chest in the background, the weathered wall, the T-shirt on the line and the colorful fabric underfoot all help turn her into a paintingt. Click for 1500x1000 image
This Balinese hen was flighty. I spotted her through a thicket before she saw me and was ready when she hopped up on the wall. Which was just as well because she took one look at me and was gone.Click for 1500x1000 image Balinese Bird
Two-handed bird Some chickens need restraints. This picture was a present from Leela, who has been very understanding through all this. Of course, it's always possible she was snapping the boy and only later noticed he had a bird. Click for 1300x900 image
Remember the film where Rambo's been captured in Vietnam after Murdock orders the rescue chopper to turn back?
When he's trussed up like a turkey in a thatched hut with two murderous Russians and it looks like the end?
Right before he's going to die he gets one last chance to talk to Murdock 10,000 miles away over the shortwave and just before he kills everything in sight he says, "I'm comin' for you, Murdock."
Well, this is Rambird and he's comin' for you, Penang. Click for 1300x900 image
That's Mister Chicken to you, fella.
Come over here and say that! "I may not be able to fly, but I can whip anything that walks." Click for 1500x1000 image
This is Rambird's sidekick. They're taking turns crowing over their achievements in the shadow of Georgetown's fort. Click for 1500x1000 image Just you and me, Bubba.
